Welcome to SeviLide Foundation.
Our non-profit organization provides a high-school scholarship program designed to meet the financial needs of academically talented and motivated students of limited means. Our first venture was to connect with the principal of Gordon Walcott Memorial Methodist School (GWMMS), Ms. Margaret Gabriel. Now you will ask, why GWMMS? GWMMS was what started our founder’s educational journey (well, Teacher Nica Preschool was her first school) and then the great St. Joseph’s Convent.
We reconnected with Ms. Gabriel, who then made the selection of the student. We felt this was a better move instead of taking applications and having to sort through them. Our criteria were simple, a child from a low-income family that showed academic potential. We were matched with a female for our first year with the hopes of providing more scholarships for the upcoming years to more students.
We will be adding to our Amazon wishlist, and also, the main page has a Donate Button, so feel free to assist in any way you can. We would also like to collect educational items to help the teachers of GWMMS.
